Welcome to St. Mark's Cub Scouts!

Cub Scouting is fun for the whole family.  In Scouting, boys and girls start with their best right now selves and grow into their very best future selves. It’s fun, hands-on learning and achievement that puts kids in the middle of the action and prepares them for today – and for life.

Cub Scouts are organized in Dens (kids in the same grade, each of which belong to a Pack. Our Pack number is 727. We have Dens for K through 5th grade. Grade K through 5 Dens meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month from 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm in Fellowship Hall. There is also Webelos I den (grade 4th) that meets on the 1st & 3rd Thursdays of each month from 3:30-4:30pm in the Fireside Room.

Costs

When compared to the cost of sports and many other activities, there is no doubt that Scouting delivers great value to its members! The first-time registration fee to join Pack 727 is around $200 per year. In addition, there are uniform costs and nominal activity fees (Misc fee $120) that may be charged by your local unit. These costs may be offset by unit fundraising and other available scholarship funds.

At the heart of Scouting are hands-on, interactive activities.  In Cub Scouts, there are opportunities to spend time as a family and to do things that help build upon the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Families are always welcome at any of our Scouting meetings or events.

Get Involved

Getting everyone involved makes the experience more meaningful for your Cub Scout.  There is a place for every parent, legal guardian, or other caring adults who wants to help. There a several positions available within a Den (a group of Cub Scouts in the same grade), as Den Leaders, Assistant Den Leaders, Den Parent Coordinator and Parent Helpers. Within the Pack, which includes all Dens (grades K-5), there are several opportunities to volunteer, including Pack Committee Chair, Chartered Organization Representative, Secretary, Treasurer, Fundraising Chair, Advancement Chair, Public Relations Chair,
